Austin, TX —DW-860 wireless industrial keyboard from Ikey Industrial Peripherals incorporates 2.4 GHz WirelessUSB technology, allowing for up to 30-ft signal range. Input device for mobile PC applications operates using radio frequency signals so that it is not susceptible to the line-of-sight issues associated with infrared keyboards. Plug-and-play USB dongle will even communicate with the keyboard through a metal enclosure.
Designed for use in manufacturing, material handling, point-of-sale, and other harsh environment applications, the compact unit is made with a sealed, industrial silicone keypad and ABS polycarbonate case. DW-860 keyboard meets NEMA 4X specifications, ensuring protection from dust, water, and corrosive liquids.
For keystroke security, the unit comes with a binding feature that locks in the keyboard signal, allowing multiple wireless keyboards to operate within the same environment and acting as a barrier to interference from other wireless devices.
