To give users added measurement expertise and responsiveness, Yamatake America Inc. and MycroSensor Technologies LLC formed a strategic alliance May 14 that will focus on measurement instrumentation and create their Process Measurement Center. This facility will provide access to measurement experts, who understand users’ needs and applications, and can provide solutions to meet those needs.

Yamatake and MycroSensor report their alliance enables combined product portfolios, operations consolidation, and co-development programs. Initially, MycroSensor will assume marketing, sales, and post-sale product support for Yamatake’s MagneW electromagnetic flowmeter portfolio in the Americas.

In addition, MagneW’s final assembly and testing operations for the Americas will be performed in MycroSensor’s Phoenix-based manufacturing facility.
