Yokogawa creates MES Solution Center

Yokogawa Electric has created a Global MES Solution Center (GMSC) at Yokogawa Marex at Cowes in the Isle of Wight (U.K.). The company said GMSC at Cowes will help satisfy the demand for process/business information to help customers optimize production systems.

The GMSC is responsible for all aspects of market development and will work with regional MES centers globally to create a knowledge-based virtual support network. Current Yokogawa MES-level products include the Exaquantum plant management and information system (PIMS), and the VISA application suite on the top of PIMS.
