Video: Bosch Rexroth integrates machine, motion control

Integrating motion and machine control logic within a drive-based architecture can eliminate machine automation costs and simplify machine design, by putting a PLC into a drive. About $100 in extra cost can eliminate the need for a PLC in an application, controlling up 14 axes with connected drives.
