Microchip Technology's MCP8025 and MCP8026 3-Phase BLDC motor gate drivers integrate power module, LIN transceiver, and sleep mode and are designed to reduce resources needed for control.

Microchip Technology’s MCP8025 and MCP8026 (MCP8025/6) three-phase Brushless DC (BLDC) motor gate drivers feature an integrated power module, LIN transceiver and sleep model. The MCP8025/6 are designed to reduce the resources needed from the microcontrollers (MCU) or digital signal controllers (DSC) by complementing their control algorithms. This lowers component counts and overall BOM costs while providing design flexibility. This combination allows the MCP8025/6 to be a motor control and drive solution for a broad range of automotive and industrial applications. The on-chip LIN transceiver is compliant with the LIN Bus 2.1, SAE J2602 standards, and previous-generation LIN 1.X standards.
