In keeping with expanding membership numbers, Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) Executive Conference attendance set a record at the event held in Savannah, GA, May 1-4, 2008.

Integrators and automation product and service suppliers worldwide joined the organization at a record pace during the first quarter of 2008, bringing CSIA membership to more than 325. The 2008 CSIA Executive Conference was the largest in the association’s 16-year history based on “confirmed registration for more than 300 attendees,” said Norman O’Leary, CSIA executive director.

“Mirroring our global reach and the growing worldwide market for control system integration services,” O’Leary continued, “is the score of CSIA members from countries throughout the Western Hemisphere, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. For example, during the first quarter of 2008, we added another member in Hawaii along with firms from Brazil and Canada.”
