Model H38 explosion-proof rotary encoder now has Mine Safety & Health Administration certification. Device is certified as meeting Part 18, Title 30 CFR, rated for underground mine use and allowing for operation in underground coal and gassy mine environments throughout the U.S. H38 encoder features a standard shaft seal, double bearing seals, and a cast aluminum housing with a hard anodized, sealed finish. Explosion-proof version of the H25 encoder series, it carries NEMA Class 4X, 6, and 13 environmental ratings and is suited for position and speed measurements and control in mine-related applications.
