Version 4.6 of Dream Report delivered a lot of new features—such as a new 3D graphical engine, pivot groups, deployment package tool, and visual SQL query editor. One of the most interesting new features in R3, is the ability to install Dream Report data connectors on one computer and access their data over a secure Web Service connection from another computer (i.e. cloud-based reporting). Now Dream Report offers the ability to deliver reporting as a service, where the user can access remote customer data safely and securely, configure Dream Report in the cloud or at their facility to automatically analyze, format, and deliver the results to your customers in the form of emails, PDF files, Excel, FTP delivery, and to the Dream Report interactive Web portal.The functionality is delivered as the Dream Report Remote Connector.
