The amplifiers have a 10-30 V dc power supply and feature both NPN and PNP outputs, which also can be selected locally or remotely. Manual program versions feature an LED bar graph to show strength of signal. Versions are available for both plastic and glass fiber-optic cables. All versions feature a keyboard lock, which prevents tampering or inadvertent changes to the sensor setup. The plastic fiber cables consist of 0.25-mm2or 1.0-mm2diameter cables with fixed sensor heads, or a low-cost group of 1.0-mm2diameter cables with detachable sensor heads. Glass fiber cables are available in a variety of models. www.carlogavazzi.com Carlo Gavazzi Automation Components
