Shanghai, China, will host Fieldbus Foundation’s annual General Assembly and business meeting, Feb. 28-Mar. 1, 2006. Shanghai was selected due to the high level of fieldbus technology adoption by the country’s burgeoning industrial sector. Shanghai is a key center for international trade and is located in one of the nation’s fastest growing economic regions. China hosts several of the world’s largest Foundation-fieldbus installations, including the Secco and Nanhai petrochemical complexes.
The program will feature workshops for process control vendors, end-users and contractors—focusing on the key issues of plant-wide integration—as well as user case studies demonstrating the benefits of the technology.
