Emerson Process Management has introduced the Brooks Instrument QUANTIM Model 500g Coriolis mass flow meter/controller.
Hatfield, PA – Emerson Process Management has introduced the Brooks Instrument QUANTIM Model 500g Coriolis mass flow meter/controller. The new Model 500g incorporates a smaller, more sensitive Coriolis sensor capable of accurately measuring and controlling mass flow from the very low flow of 5 gr/hr up to 500 gr/hr. The flowmeter’s sensor delivers an accuracy of 0.6% at the 500 gr/hr rate and also includes improved electronics that have been tailored to optimize low flow sensitivity and improve zero stability to better than 0.5 gr/hr. Additional features available include a NEMA 4X/IP65 version, a HART-compatible version, and an IP65XP version for Div. 1 Zone 1 hazardous areas.
