ISaGRAF 5.0 is said to be the “world’s first commercially available IEC 61499 automation software.” (IEC 61499 presents guidelines for using function blocks in distributed industrial process, measurement, and control systems.) Product incorporates IEC 61131-3 and 61499 standards to give users ability to build traditional control systems where interactions between devices are automatically regulated and synchronized by IEC 61499 function block diagrams rather than through use of manually implemented algorithms.
