Montreal, Canada — Mindready Solutions Inc. (MS), a supplier of solutions for test- and embedded-systems, announced the acquisition of Radical Systems Inc. (RS), an Alabama-based systems integrator—with sales of approximately $2 million for first-half 2005—specializing in automated tests, measurement, data acquisition, machine vision, and process-control systems to customers in the southeastern U.S. The transaction was completed through its subsidiary, MS (USA) Holdings Inc.
“This acquisition provides us a strong entry into the defense/aerospace and automotive/transportation test engineering markets and a solid business with a diversified list of blue chip customers. Test solutions for the defense/aerospace and automotive/transportation markets are a huge opportunity and RS is well-positioned for growth,” said Claude Delage, president and CEO of MS. “We see great synergies for cross-selling our value added services to RS’ customer base and for offering their advanced test solutions to our customers.”
“We are excited to be joining MS and we look forward to working with our new colleagues to sustain RS’ rapid growth and to offer their services to our customer base such as NASA, Boeing, National Instruments, Panasonic, Motorola, Nissan, Ford, Borg Warner, and Sanmina,” said James L. Slemp, CEO of RS.
