The M700V Series CNC is Mitsubishi Electric Automation's full-featured, multi-axis machine controller for high-speed and high-accuracy machining applications. This is a Control Engineering 2013 Engineers' Choice finalist.Specified by the largest machine tool makers in the world to run their most complex machining centers and lathes, Mitsubishi Electric Automations M700V Series CNC is the most advanced multi-axis controller suited for a wide variety of metal-cutting, forming, plastics and woodworking applications.  Available in two, the M700VS model is a stand-alone, compact integrated controller with a built-in display screen for HMI functions.

The M700VW model operates on a Microsoft Windows platform for users who need to integrate PC-based control. Today, ease-of-use and user-friendly HMI features and functions are key considerations to users when selecting CNC machine controllers. The M700V CNC is loaded with easy to use HMI screens to facilitate navigation and operation, including menu customization function, pop-up screens, guidance function, and much more.

The M700V series CNC is powered by a 64 bit RISC CPU and a proprietary LSI, exclusively developed for Mitsubishi Electric Automation CNCs. This advanced control architecture and engine is responsible for delivering next generation machining technologies. Some stand-out, high-speed, high-accuracy machining features that come standard on M700V Series CNCs include: Complete nanometer control and processing for next generation, ultra-precision, advanced machining. All operations from program values to servo commands are performed in nano-control measurements.

Adaptive Notch Filter (ANF) control prevents repeated resonances caused by mechanical wear and usage. Super Smooth Surface (SSS) control for high-quality machining by determining ideal paths and using advanced speed control. Optimum Machine Response (OMR) control for high-speed error compensating. Five axes, powerful control function for controlling tool center point positioning.
