Chicago, Ill. – Invensys used the National Manufacturing Week forum to announce formation of Avantis Asset Management Solutions group and introduce its enterprise asset management (EAM) solution. This EAM solution combines integration to real-time process information, embedded predictive capabilities, and a rapid deployment methodology.

The new solution family augments Avantis EAM software with Avantis.CM (condition monitoring) predictive technology and Avantis.DMM (dynamic maintenance management). This latter product automatically gathers real-time data from a control system or intelligent device, coordinating it into a common database where Avantis.CM analyzes the data to detect asset degeneration. Based on predefined decision criteria, Avantis automatically loads pending failure conditions to the maintenance system.
