Family of modules is suited for real-time processing applications. Architecture of the 32-bit floating point DSP is optimized for algorithms typically used in most real-time applications. DSP is a self-contained processing entity that runs independently of the host CPU platform. Expansion I/O modules may be added. Reportedly, no C compiler or DSP experience is required to program the system in National Instruments LabView or in Visual Basic.
