Milwaukee, Wis. - Rockwell Automation announced January 10, 2002 the expansion of its machine safety product and R&D capabilities by acquiring Tesch GmbH, an electronic products and safety relay manufacturer located in Wuppertal, Germany.
Milwaukee, Wis. – Rockwell Automation announced January 10, 2002 the expansion of its machine safety product and R&D capabilities by acquiring Tesch GmbH, an electronic products and safety relay manufacturer located in Wuppertal, Germany. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
‘Tesch has a solid reputation for its product technology throughout Europe, and a passion for excellence,’ said Keith Nosbusch, president, Control Systems, Rockwell Automation. ‘The availability and credibility of the company’s advanced safety relays, dedicated function monitoring relays, and other product technologies complement our safety growth initiatives and expand our current industrial component product offerings.’
Tesch currently employs approximately 60 people and occupies two facilities in the Wuppertal area. Rockwell Automation sees no management or location changes as a result of the acquisition. Tesch will be aligned with Rockwell Automation’s UK-based EJA Ltd., a global manufacturer of Guardmaster safety products.
