SAC option card transforms Kollmorgen S300 and S600 digital servo amplifiers into intelligent, fully programmable motion control drives to give designers access to a broad range of motor designs and form factors. Card also provides simple machine control functionality, eliminating the need for low-end PLCs. Included are MC Basic (true Basic language with a motion command set), full math capability for expanded motion control functionality, and multi-tasking language for enhanced machine control. SAC-equipped S300 or S600 can be part of a distributed control system or perform total control for a single-axis machine.
