President; EZAutomation, AVG Automation, Bettendorf, Iowa
BS Electrical Engineering, Illinois Institute of Technology

Kumar started at AVG in 2007 where he initially was responsible for manufacturing products. He then got involved in procurement/sourcing of electrical components and plastic material whereby he saved the company millions of dollars in material sourcing. After managing operations on the back end for a few years, Kumar got involved in the sales and marketing of industrial control products. Through his hard work and eagerness to learn industrial controls inside and out, he visited and spoke to hundreds of customers, selling to various industries which now represent some of AVG’s largest clients. After conquering the sales and marketing aspect of the business, Kumar got involved in financing activities and general management. Kumar is now the president and acting CEO of AVG Automation. Kumar is actively involved in political events hosted by the Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC). He is one of the founding members of the nonprofit organization which is focused primarily around building a strong, effective, and respected Hindu American voice across the country. Kumar is involved in this committee to show young Indian Americans that their voices do matter.
