The Automation Federation, which is part of the International Society of Automation (ISA), has hired industrial control systems (ICS) cybersecurity expert Marty Edwards as its new managing director. Edwards, a 25-year industry veteran, is director of the Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team (ICS-CERT), an operational division of the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC) in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
