GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies has released the OptiSonde humidity indicator, transmitter, and datalogger, reportedly the first chilled mirror hygrometer that offers precision and repeatability found in laboratory standards. It may be used to calibrate and verify a variety of humidity sensors and instruments, and to document environmental conditions of process and storage areas. It can monitor humidity and temperature in pharmaceutical process, environmental test chambers, automotive and aerospace engine emissions and testing, heat exchanger, and air conditioning performance testing applications. The product has a durable, compact design, internal datalogger, and LCD readout. Data is transmitted via two fully scaleable analog signals (4-20 mA) and digitally via an RS-232 port. It is available in bench-top and wall-mounted configurations. www.gesensing.com GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies
