The company’s ULT, UTH, and UTS motor kits can be integrated into a customized assembly with high resolution encoders and precision bearings, allowing the user to control the function and operation of the assembly without having to make it in house. The company usually designs based on specifications provided by the customer. The final assembly is then only made for and sold to that customer. Some assemblies even include harmonic drive gearing systems. Custom assemblies can range from 8mm diameter to 600mm diameter and torque from .1 to 1000 NM with unique through-holes, mechanical features and custom cabling.

Applimotion Inc., located in Loomis, Calif., cites that its goal is to make unique brushless components and electromechanical assemblies affordable. Engineers provide expertise in motor design and motion engineering to create application-specific motors for OEM customers and offer system integration services to create unique electromechanical systems. The company handles low-volume, performance-driven applications at its California facility, and high-volume, value-driven manufactured motors off shore.
