Mitsubishi Electric’s PowerGate 66 IP66 / NEMA drive is a decentralized variable frequency drive incorporating E700 VFD into a custom made NEMA 4 water resistant enclosure. The PowerGate 66 drive is made for applications that require precise motor speed control, including food and beverage conveyors, material handling, HVAC pumps and fans control, water handling, or in applications where the drive is exposed to water and dust. PowerGate 66 is placed closer to the motor to improve efficiency and prevent motor damage, while the NEMA 4 enclosure protects it against dirt and water. PowerGate 66 comes with a keypad and display. The keypad has ten buttons laid out similarly to a pocket calculator. PowerGate 66 is compatible with standard Mitsubishi Electric E700 option cards and can be connected with Ethernet or factory communications networks.
