PROS, apublicly traded pricing software company, says it deliversprofitability management and optimization to its clients in a widerange of industries, including manufacturing and distribution. Intoday's economic climate, companies need a holistic view of data tomanage profitability. It's impacted not only by pricing, but alsoincentives, revenue, costs, gross margins and net profits. PROSsoftware integrates business knowledge with science and software toenable companies to unlock the value in their data to improve financialperformance - in a nutshell - improve their pricing practices to becomea more profitable business. PROS (NYSE: PRO), provider of enterprise pricing software, has joined Salesforce.com AppExchange, an on-demand application sharing service. This new delivery platform enables Salesforce.com's many users to apply the optimal price to every quote, every time, PROS says.

"PROS has entered the cloud and is proud to be partnered with Salesforce.com, the market leader. Salesforce.com's AppExchange is the perfect distribution channel to provide PROS pricing software as a service," Reiner said, noting that PROS enhances the site's existing and planned quoting capabilities.

Together the software enables customers to use multiple negotiation approaches, such as volume-based incentives and tiered structures. Users now have real-time visibility into deal metrics, such as profitability and deal scores, to identify optimized prices that will help them respond quickly and confidently to market and competitive demands.

Salesforce.com is an enterprise cloud computing company, which claims to have "revolutionized the ways that companies collaborate and communicate with their customers across sales, marketing and service. The company's Force.com platform is said to help customers, partners and developers to quickly build powerful business applications to the enterprise in the cloud. Based on salesforce.com's real-time, multitenant architecture, Salesforce CRM and Force.com offer the fastest path to customer success with cloud computing, the companies say.

PROS says it has implemented more than 200 solutions across a range of industries in more than 40 countries. Founded in 1985, PROS is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
