Network Integration — I/O Systems: The SMARTDAC+ GX/GP R2 series data acquisition platforms are network-enabled with touch screen operator interfaces. This is a Control Engineering 2015 Engineers’ Choice finalist.
GX/GP R2 series is a fully integrated data acquisition platform with scalable, modular I/O and multi-point touch operator interface. GX is a panel-mount device; GP is a portable bench top version. GX/GP R2 are used to measure/display/record batch and continuous process/test data with direct reporting capability. Both provide universal inputs for measurement of thermocouple, RTD, DCV, mA, and DI process signals, and include secure high capacity data storage, SD removable media, and high resolution color touch screen operator interface with swipe action to see trend history. Up to 450 measurement channels are supported via rear panel and optional expansion chassis analog inputs. A common web browser can be used for configuration and real time data monitoring on a range of standard trend, digital, and bar graph display screens. Optional Advanced Security and validation protocol for compliance with 21CFR Part 11 support electronic recording applications in pharmaceutical, biotech, and food and beverage applications. Batch recording, barcode interface, compliance with AMS2750E and optional TUS reporting software support survey work and recording in heat treatment applications. Optional custom graphics allow users to easily build specialized display screens for their applications. Standard Ethernet interface supporting multiple protocols allows data exchange with other devices and PC platforms. Optional data acquisition software is also available.
