The ValvEx passive explosion isolation valve is designed to prevent flame and pressure propagation through interconnected pipes, ducts, or conveying lines to additional process equipment or operating locations. It is a “passive” valve, meaning it is closed by the explosion pressure itself. It resets itself automatically after an explosion event. The valve is third-party tested and ATEX-certified, making it suitable for use in processes that involve combustible materials.
