F.I.R.S.T. ROBOTICS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP –  Just because you can’t be there doesn’t mean you have to miss out on all the fun. WATCH THE ACTION ONLINE at https://science.ksc.nasa.gov/robotics/  or https://www.hectv.org/

Here is the agenda for this weeks activities:

Did you feel that something was happening, that there was a shift in robotics people toward St. Louis, MO this week?  I sure did.  Twitter has been lit up all week with people updating their peeps on where they are at each stage of their journey as they make their way toward the F.I.R.S.T.

Robotics World Championship in St. Louis, MO (and it will be there again in 2012 and 2013).  My information gathering phone calls all this week have been met by staffers explaining that the person I need to talk to is on their way to St. Louis, or already there.

The people I talked to in St. Louis can only talk a few minutes because of all the activity already in progress.

While there are 352 teams with robots competing, more FIRST teams will be there than that.  Teams that have won awards but not enough to advance to the final level of competition have all been invited. Thousands of family, friends, classmates, teachers, spectators and sponsors representatives are there now or will be soon.  It is a big deal.  Don’t miss it.
