JetCon 1301 industrial media converter from Korenix operates in switching converter and pure converter modes and supports DIN-rail mounting.

Taipei, Taiwan— JetCon1301 industrial Ethernet fiber media converter from Korenix Technology Co. Ltd . features small size, robust casing, and low data forwarding latency. The 10/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX multi-mode (JetCon 1301-m) and single-mode (JetCon 1301-s) has a footprint of 70 mm high x 30 mm wide x 89 mm deep and can be operated in two modes, switching converter and pure converter.

Store-and forward technology is implemented in the switching converter mode. Device filters out abnormal packets and supports a data forwarding rate up to 148,810 pps in full wire speed, packet length from 64 to 1,500 bytes. In the pure converter mode, it converts signal between copper and fiber port without any packet check and operates in minimum data forwarding latency speed.

Device uses built-in link loss forwarding (LLF) technology to fast forward the on-site link status to a remote system. Diagnostic LEDs display link, power, and activity to permit network problems to be detected and corrected quickly. Industrial grade aluminum case provides IP31 protection. The heavy-duty design is suitable for operating temperatures from -10 to 70 °C, fanless.
