The BinMaster GWR-1000 level sensor is designed to measures liquids with a dielectric constant greater than 2.1-in vessels up to 78-in. tall. It utilizes time domain reflectometry (TDR) to measure the distance, level and volume of material contained in bins, tanks or silos. The GWR-1000 determines the distance to the surface of the liquid by sending a low power microwave signal along a cable and calculating the level based upon the time of flight. It is also immune to humidity, temperature, and pressure changes as well as noise present when filling or emptying the vessel. Other features include advanced two-wire TDR measurement technology with accuracy of ± 0.2-in. Measurement data can be converted to a 4- to 20 mA output to view on a local SAP-300 display. The GWR-1000 also comes in high temperature models that can operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -30 to 200 C (-22 to 392 F).
