Etel’s LMS ironcore linear motor series (LMS) feature an anti-cogging design and are designed for thermal-drift-sensitive precision machines.

The extension of Etel’s ironcore linear motor range opens new application potential in many markets, from high-end automation to demanding semiconductor and electronic motion systems. The LMS series can be used in machines where a high power density is required together with a high dynamic for mid-range moving masses.

The anti-cogging design enables the LMS linear motors to have a peak force density in the magnetic gap, as well as thermal efficiency. The LMS series boasts continuous force up to 664 N, peak force up to 2,760 N with speeds up to 15 m/s. It is also 600 V dc compliant and has low force ripple.
