CDCN200 series mini controllers with temperature sensors have been specially designed for water conditioning. They measure 8 x 5 cm (3 x 2 in.); conductivity and TDS values are displayed in large digits on the LCD. LEDs indicate if the relay is active or inactive. CDCN201 and CDCN202 measure conductivity from 0 to 1999 mS/cm and 0.00 to 10.00 mS/cm, respectively. CDCN203 and CDCN204 check and control TDS from 0.00 to 10.00 ppt and 0 to 999 ppm, respectively.

CDCN203 and CDCN204 operate with a conversion rate of 0.50 between TDS and conductivity. A built-in relay terminal is activated when the measurements are above the setpoint. This allows for the conductivity to be lowered to the desired threshold. Trimmers on the front panel are used to adjust the setpoint or calibrate the controllers. Probes and mounting brackets are included. CDE201 and CDE202 probes have 0.5-in. external threads so that they can be installed in the pipe. The 2 m (6.6 ft) lead ends in a five-wire terminal, which incorporates an anti-noise wire, particularly important when near pumps or machinery.

Temperature affects EC and TDS at 2% per degree; the controllers compensate automatically. Power options are: 100-110 V, 220-240 V, or 12 V dc, with transformer included. Price starts at $150.
