Photoelectric sensor line has M18 housing

Wenglor photoelectric sensors are available for straight and angled reflex, retro-reflex and through beam sensors and are available in housing lengths of 35 mm and 50 mm.

Wenglor has created a range of sensors in a plastic M18 housing which is distinguished by efficiency and economy – without skimping on high-tech features. The mechanical design is available for straight and angled Reflex Sensors, Retro-Reflex Sensors and Through Beam Sensors with cable or plug. With housing lengths of 35 mm (straight variant) and 50 mm (angled variant), the Photoelectronic Sensors are very compact and can be integrated into any application.

All of the modes of operation offered with the sensor range are equipped with an antivalent output, a potentiometer for adjusting switching distance and two diagnosis LEDs. The integrated LEDs indicate switching status, contamination and supply voltage, and are highly visible from any angle. Switching distance can be precisely adjusted to any application with the potentiometer which is protected against destruction due to overtwisting by means of a mechanical limit stop.

The mounting system included as standard equipment with the sensors allows for easy attachment ranging from integration into the system right on up to quasi-flush mounting. As a highly practical feature, the sensors can be fed through the opening and secured from either side. This simplifies and accelerates initial start-up, and reduces installation costs.
