Belden’s Actuator Sensor Box-Ruggedized (ASB-R) distribution boxes permit reliable connections in demanding environments like welding lines and material handling systems while minimizing machine downtime. The die-cast zinc housing can withstand shavings, welding sparks, aggressive coolants, lubricants, as well as shock and vibration. No sub-distribution through terminal blocks or screw-in cable fasteners is necessary because the ASB-R distribution boxes can be mounted on machinery. M12 connection technology simplifies the installation process, while minimizing the effort required for maintenance and storage. The ASB-R distribution boxes bundle signals from actuators and sensors and transmit them to control systems via a single control cable. The distribution boxes come with an IP67 protection rating and are equipped with four or eight vibration-proof M12 ports and metal screw threads. The ASB-R boxes also have an extended operating temperature range of -40 C to +80 C.
