Horsham, PA – Strongarm Designs unveiled the D755 line of industrially hardened computers , a sturdy computing system that incorporates Dell’s Optiplex.Manufactured exclusively for Strongarm , D755 provides manufacturing, industrial, defense, and transportation markets with a computing system based on the Dell Optiplex platform for higher temperature environments. This simplifies extending IT standards into uncontrolled environments to deliver reliability, technology, and supportability.Working with the largest global computer suppliers, the company identified a standard PC platform that could be enhanced to increase operating temperature range for the industrial computing market. The higher temperature specifications allow D755 to be used in uncontrolled environments with minimal or no cooling.D755 is suitable for use in the company’s line of operator interface systems; operation in higher ambient temperatures (up to 45 °C) allowing use in uncontrolled environments such as warehouses, loading docks, and factories, without additional cooling; and energy reductions by eliminating or reducing energy required for cooling devices and their ongoing maintenance. Also featured are Intel processors with Intel Core 2 Duo architecture– dual core technology with up to 3.0 GHz, 6M cache, VT, 1333 MHz FSB.Strongarm offers its complete operator station line preconfigured with D755. www.Strongarm.com StrongarmAlso see other products and research:
