Thermal management: Painted NEMA 4X stainless steel wall-mounted enclosure

Hoffman offers the new Type 4X Stainless Steel Wall-Mount Enclosure with white polyester powder finish to reduce solar radiation for lower cost cooling.

Anoka, MN – Hoffman offers the new Type 4X Stainless Steel Wall-Mount Enclosure painted with a white polyester powder finish inside and out to reduce solar radiation absorption and keep internal components cooler. Rugged stainless steel construction protects electrical components and controlsThis enclosure offers the same durability of the company’s standard 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel offerings, and white finish keeps internal enclosure temperature up to 10 degrees F lower than traditional stainless steel enclosure in identical environments. This single-door enclosure features continuously welded, ground smooth seams, with no holes or knockouts, and its data pocket is constructed of high-impact thermoplastic. The enclosure additionally offers Hoffman’s exclusive Type 316L stainless steel small Powerglide Padlocking Handle with internal 3-point latching. The enclosure meets Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 508A, UL508; UL Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12; National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)/EEMAC Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13; and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) C22.2 No. 94 Type 4, 4X and 12.
