Schneider Electric’s Altivar Process 900 range of variable speed drives (VSDs) are available for 230 and 460 V supply in stand-alone drive modules through 250 HP. Altivar Process is designed to provide information to industry specialists such as petroleum engineers or mining engineers. The drive is able to communicate real-time data through built-in internet connectivity. The connectivity provided by Altivar Process allows technical experts located anywhere in the world to review output information and provide advice to operators. Operators can also scan QR codes shown on the drive and connect directly to troubleshooting information if the need arises. The Altivar Process 900 range is suited to artificial lift applications for onshore oil production such as electro-submersible pumps, rod pumps and progressive cavity pumps, as well as drilling rig and oil refinery applications.
