Emerson Process Management’s CSI 9360 vibration/position transmitter offers users and manufacturers an economical solution for extending basic protection to compressor, pump and fan assets. Developed using OEM-supplied specifications, the transmitter detects emerging sleeve bearing issues by capturing vibration or position data and translating it into a 4-20 mA signal for monitoring. This advanced warning allows customers to shut down these assets before significant equipment damage occurs or production is impacted. It can be field-configured for three radial vibration ranges or position with invertible position signal, selectable sensor loop response times and optional sensor fault lock out times.

The transmitter has flexible options for accessing data, making it easier to take timely, corrective action. The screw terminal buffered output connection can be directly wired to a monitoring system for detailed analysis or troubleshooting. For simple installation, the CSI 9360 is loop powered with a standard DIN rail mounting clip or optional panel mount adapter.
