NK Technologies’ VTU voltage transducer is designed to measure ac or dc circuit voltages to 1200 V with a single sensor. The sensor produces an analog signal directly proportional to the RMS voltage, which makes it ideal for detecting power generation issues such as brown outs and phase loss from both conventional and alternative sources. It has industry standard output options—4 to 20mA, 0-5, and 0 to 10 Vdc—and is compatible with most automation and control systems. The VTU Series of voltage transducers provide high accuracy and safety in a panel or DIN rail mounted housing. The VTU Voltage Transducer is used to measure voltage in a variety of applications, including pumps and aerators for water delivery and treatment systems, allowing them to be shut down quickly if the supplied voltage falls to a dangerous level. The unit can also monitor voltage of field windings in the dc motors of cranes and heavy-lifting equipment, among many other applications.
