Microprocessor-based temperature transmitters provide 0.08% accuracy, can be configured by a PC or HART communicator, and take all universal temperature inputs (RTD, thermocouple, resistance, and millivolt). Software allows custom configuration. Transmitters can be supplied with FM, CSA, or ATEX hazardous-area certifications; GL (marine) approval is also an option. Two models feature narrow-narrow-profile (12.7 mm) DIN-railmounting, allowing multiple transmitters to be stacked in a small space. Three other models are head-mount devices available with optional digital display meters.
