Data-driven maintenance: Follow the numbers to the right strategy

One (1) Certified Professional Development Hour (PDH) available for all attendees.

Data-driven maintenance is all the rage in manufacturing, but a comprehensive strategy requires the knowledge of when to use data, when to use a calendar and when to run to failure. That correct mix of strategies will deliver greater uptime, cost savings and efficiency while using your maintenance team on the highest-value projects.

The webcast will review maintenance strategies now in use, look at the value and limitations of each one and discuss how new sensors, software technologies and analytics are changing the may maintenance is performed.

Learning objectives:

  • Review the various maintenance strategies, including reactive (break-fix), preventive and predictive.
  • Understand how manufacturers are utilizing predictive maintenance to better maintain equipment.
  • Learn about the concept of “maintenance as a profit center” that focuses on uptime and equipment availability rather than the focus of maintenance as a cost center.
  • Discuss how training and technology must change in order for manufacturers to take full advantage of new maintenance technologies.
