Anaheim, CA - Rockwell Automation developed a ''ViewAnyWare'' strategy a few years' ago and has stuck with it as a platform for new product development in both hardware and software. Demonstrations at Automation Fair this year revealed how Allen-Bradley electronic operator interfaces and industrialized computer hardware, as well as Rockwell Software supervisory control software applications use one common development environment.

Enterprise visualization solution components unveiled at the show include:

VersaView industrial computers and monitors are pre-configured with applications from visualization, control, information processing, and maintenance.

VersaView CE , available in February 2003, offers a Microsoft Windows CE platform for applications configured for the hardware design. Also available will be a software development kit that allows customers to use C++ or Microsoft Visual Basic to write custom applications.

Designed with a common development environment and software for machine- and supervisory-level monitoring and control, RSView Enterprise Series 3.0 offers improved server redundancy for critical applications security, additional connectivity to third party PLC hardware, and programming options for PanelView Plus.

InView is family of large format and panel mounted LED message displays specifically designed for industrial applications.
