Charlottesville, Va. – GE Fanuc’s recent release of Cimplicity HMI Plant Edition includes: an HTML style interface designed to guide users through setup and configuration and automatically detect GE Fanuc Ethernet-enabled PLCs on a network, and ability to allow an unlimited number of users to securely view screens over a company intranet or the Internet; support for remote access and configuration over Internet/intranet using Microsoft’s thin client terminal services technology. SQL database logging enhancements include high-speed bulk insertions, dead bands, optimized storage, and direct support to Oracle databases using standard ODBC drivers.
