Compact programmable safety system
Farmington Hills, Mich. -PSS 3046 is a compact, programmable safety system for light curtains, safety gates, or other types of safety related devices. It allows transmission of data in accordance with EN 954-1 up to and including category 4 and DIN V 19 250 up to AK 6. The system can be connected to other controller types of I/Os or by a serial interface. Safety-related functions can only be processed through a failsafe section. The section of the CPU operates through three channels, ensuring a high level of safety. It offers a universal design to meet all requirements: 32 digital inputs, 12 single-pole outputs, four of which can be configured as test pulses, two dual-pole outputs, reduced space requirements, high processing speed for time-critical cycles, programming port and RS-232 port.
