Type 8630 TOP control system coupled with Type 2712 pneumatically operated globe valve provides a complete, intelligent process control/proportional valve system. Type 8630 digitally fired positioning unit has on/off and continuous functionality, and features a directly connected PID-controlled feedback loop integral with the actuator, and a PID Process Tune function that allows PID-values to be automatically set. Flow accuracy is better than 1%. Type 8630 can retransmit the process valve status via a 4-20 mA output signal and is available with Profibus DP and DeviceNet interfaces, or without the PID circuit.
