The main components of Sytronix FcP are fixed or variable displacement pumps, the Rexroth frequency converter EFC5610 (FcP5020) or IndraDrive HCS (FcP7020), pressure transducer and standard induction motor (TEFC or TEBC depending on application need). Features such as pump protection and connectivity with Sercos and multi-Ethernet are available. A pressure control is implemented in the frequency converter. An external pressure command value is typically provided by the higher-level machine control. The actual pressure value is measured by the pressure transducer and fed to the pressure control.

When a hydraulic actuator consumes volumetric flow, the system pressure drops. In order to compensate, the pressure control increases the speed of the motor/pump unit via the EFC5610 frequency converter. This increases the pump flow, stabilizing the pressure at the commanded value. Commissioning is plug and play. Each system setup can be pre-configured with motor pump units in different performance classes, with matching hydraulic and electrical components.
