Danbury, CT— STS offers the new PTM Series 40 precision rangeable pressure transmitters / transducers suitable for test and measurement applications in a wide range of industries.

With a static accuracy of better than 0.1% and a total accuracy, including temperature, of 0.15%, the PTM is ideal for production test and development projects in automotive, aerospace, engines, compressors, process monitoring and control, and many other similar applications. The transmitter has a rugged modular design in 316 SS with an extensive range of pressure and electrical fittings. Full scale ranges from 1 through 15,000 psi are available with a proof pressure of typically greater than 300% FS. Operating process temperatures from -40 to 300° F are acceptable.

The supply voltage from 9 to 33 V dc provides a 2-wire current loop output of 4 to 20 mA for the full scale range selected. A 4:1 programmable turndown is incorporated enabling each transmitter to be optimized for the particular application selected, thus maximizing resolution and reducing the need for excess inventory to suit different measurement requirements.
