Horsham, PA —Jett-eye from Two Technologies is claimed to be the “first and most powerful” integrated multi-megapixel (MP) digital camera and rugged mobile computer featuring a bar code imager and wireless connectivity. Called advanced and affordable, the device lets users capture color digital images and data in any remote location and seamlessly transmit them to a manufacturing facility or any centralized location.
Features include a 5-MP (4-MP processed) digital camera with an ultra-bright LED light source for photography in low-light areas; a wide, sunlight-readable display for easy viewing; and adjustable infrared (IR) coated-glass optics for crisp, clear images. Bar-code imaging sensor has a read distance of up to 8.25-in. and supports widely used bar code standards. IP65 rating ensures protection against dust and moisture.
Product incorporates Bluetooth and WLAN (802.11b) technology for real-time wireless connectivity. It uses Microsoft Windows CE .Net 5.0 operating systems and has RS-232 and USB ports, 128-MB SDRAM, and up to 8-GB of data storage. Applications for visual information capturing, storing, and sharing include manufacturing, transportation, security, construction, pharmaceutical, medical, and agricultural industries.
