Eden Prairie, MN— PPT Vision recently introduced its Impact T25 and Impact T21, which are the newest additions to its T-series intelligent cameras for high-speed, automated inspection. Compared to standard resolution vision systems, the firm says, Impact T25 is designed to give manufacturers greater accuracy and improved defect detection. Impact T21 is a remote, micro-head based camera, designed for tightly constrained mechanical requirements. Both reportedly offer the functions of a full-featured, self-contained vision system.
Impact T25 has a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, including a self-contained image processor and I/O. Supported by a high-speed CCD imaging sensor, it can capture and process images at rates of up to 5,000 parts per minute. Impact T21 is ideal for inspecting electronic micro-components and other small manufactured parts. Its tiny micro head fits nicely into small machines or tight spaces.
Both of these new products are supported by PPT's Inspection Builder software, which contains the features of a full-scale vision system in an economical, smart camera format.
PPT manufactures machine vision technologies, including smart cameras and vision micro-systems for many applications, including manufacturers of automotive components, electronic components, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, medical devices, consumer goods, and plastics.
