New York, NY— Krohne Inc. is introducing its Optimass series 7000 and 7100 single-tube mass flowmeters at Interphex 2005 , April 26-28, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The company says its Optimass flowmeters are ideal for precise blending, dosing, and batching applications, and can handle many flow applications. Krohne manufactures level- and flow-measurement products for the process industries.
Available in many sizes, Optimass flowmeters are suitable for mass flow rates from 0.55 lbs/min up to 15,800 lbs/min. In addition to flow, Optimass measures density, temperature, and concentration. These flowmeters also incorporate secondary pressure containment with the option of a heating jacket, and offer a choice of wetted parts in titanium, stainless steel and Hastelloy. Also, Optimass’ small footprint and insensitivity to process vibration installation simplifies installation.
Featuring an optionally polished finished (Ra 0.5) standards.
Optimass is a part of Krohne’s new Optiworld family. The company adds these solutions incorporate innovative electronics, including a permanently mounted sensor signal processor and an integrally or remotely mounted converter, which reportedly enables superior flow accuracy and repeatability.
