Multi-Sensor Interface from Ircon Inc. lets users access configuration and temperature data for up to 12 sensors over plant-wide networks and the Internet.

Multi-Sensor Interface (MSI) from Ircon Inc . is designed for the Modline 5 series of infrared sensors. MSI lets users access configuration and temperature data for up to 12 sensors over plant-wide networks and the Internet through an embedded Web browser interface. IP65-rated IR sensor series extends high accuracy temperature measurement across a real temperature range from 250 °C to 3000 °C.
NEMA 4X rated, 10.4-in touch panel color display comes with graphic screens that present the Modline 5 sensor configuration, status, current temperature, historical trends, and temperature alarms. Unit is said to provide an instant overview of the sensors interconnected by an EIA-485 network.

Built-in Web browser allows the interface to be accessed by a remote workstation using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher to modify sensor setup and view sensor temperature measurements and trends. Interface is equipped with a Type II slot for Compact Flash cards and can optionally store temperature data in CSV format on a 128 Mbyte CF card supplied with the unit. CF data are compatible with standard spreadsheet software and can be accessed directly by the Web browser.
